What is Management?
Management is the process by which a manager plans, organizes, controls, monitors, and evaluates to achieve the organizational goal.
One goes that management is what a manager does. But I oppose this definition. Because if a manager goes to take lunch or tea, it may never be the definition of management.
Management is the way in which we control the environment around us. We manage our resources, our time, and our space. Management is how we plan, organize, direct, and control the activities that take place in order to achieve a goal. In the context of cannabis cultivation, management refers to the way in which we cultivate plants, harvest them, and care for them after they have been harvested.
There are many different types of management techniques, but the two main categories are Indoor and Outdoor. Indoor management is the method of cultivating a plant inside a controlled environment. Outdoor management is the method of growing a plant outside of a controlled environment. There are advantages and disadvantages to both methods, but each has its own set of pros and cons.
Indoor Management
The biggest advantage of indoor management is that it provides a safe and clean environment for the plant. Plants grown indoors are not exposed to harmful elements like wind, rain, snow, and extreme temperatures. They are also protected from insects, diseases, and predators. Another benefit of indoor management is that lighting conditions are consistent throughout the year. This makes it easier to maintain a constant temperature and humidity level.
On the downside, indoor management requires a lot of maintenance. You need to make sure that the air quality is good enough to sustain the plant's respiratory system, that the lights are properly placed, and that the water supply is sufficient. If any of these things go wrong, the plant could suffer from various problems including stunted growth, poor coloration, and even death.
Outdoor Management
The biggest advantage of outdoor management is that it gives the plant access to natural sunlight. This helps the plant to develop stronger stems and branches. Also, the plant receives more exposure to the elements, which means that it grows faster than if it were kept indoors.
One disadvantage to outdoor management is that the plant may experience changes in weather patterns. These fluctuations can cause the plant to become stressed, which could lead to issues such as mold and mildew.
In conclusion, both indoor and outdoor management have their own advantages and disadvantages. However, whichever type of management you choose, you should always strive to provide the best possible environment for your plant.
